Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support to individuals in home health. In this vital role, you will assist clients with daily activities, monitor their health and well-being, and promote independence while ensuring safety and comfort. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help enhance the quality of life for those you serve. Days and hours needed:
Tuesday/Friday 9am-1pm. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs while maintaining hygiene standards Utilize proper patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to ensure safe mobility Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities, observations, and communication in compliance with healthcare protocols Provide emotional support and effective communication to clients, fostering a trusting relationship Assist with patient personal care assistance, including toileting, hygiene routines, and comfort measures Support patients with specialized needs such as dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, or developmental disabilities Follow all safety procedures including first aid, and emergency response protocols Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Demonstrated experience in patient observation, and implementing care plans Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient confidentiality and data security Hands-on experience with patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices Familiarity with dementia care practices including memory care strategies and Alzheimer's care techniques Previous caregiving roles involving heavy lifting or manual handling tasks required for patient safety Join us in providing compassionate care that makes a real difference! Pay:
$16.94 - $18.00 per hour
