Full-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Location:
Harrington, Delaware Starting Pay:
$18.50/hour (with increases based on experience)
Schedule:
Sunday 10 AM
  • 9PM•Monday & Wednesday 3:00 PM•11:00 PM No High School Diploma Required Make a Real Difference, One Shift at a Time!
Are you compassionate, reliable, and ready to support individuals in living their best lives? Join Choices for Community Living (CCL) as a Full-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Harrington, DE! As a DSP, you'll play a vital role in empowering adults with developmental disabilities to thrive in their homes and communities.
What You'll Do:
Assist individuals with daily living tasks such as personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility Administer medications in accordance with care plans Help with meal preparation and nutritional needs Encourage participation in recreational, social, and community activities Accurately document services provided, behaviors observed, and individual progress
What We're Looking For:
A caring, patient, and dependable professional Strong communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking English) Physically able to assist with lifting/transferring and perform routine physical tasks (walking, kneeling, reaching, etc.) A positive attitude and a true passion for helping others
Requirements:
Full-Time availability and holidays A valid Delaware driver's license (no more than 5 points) A clean driving record
