Lauderhill, FL Job Details Full-time $15 - $17 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Certified Home Health Aide Experience working with individuals with disabilities HIPAA Assisting with ADLs Patient interaction Full Job Description Home Health Aide (HHA) - PPEC Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and energetic Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our pediatric care team at a PPEC (Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care) center in Lauderhill, FL. Experience working with children is strongly preferred, and previous experience working in a PPEC is highly preferred. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and is comfortable assisting pediatric patients with medical, developmental, and special needs in a caring and professional environment. Responsibilities  Assist children with activities of daily living, including feeding, hygiene, toileting, dressing, and mobility.  Provide attentive and compassionate care to pediatric patients throughout the day.  Assist nursing staff with the daily needs of the children within the HHA's permitted scope of duties.  Observe children and promptly report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.  Help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and child-friendly environment.  Participate in age-appropriate activities and interact positively with the children.  Follow facility policies, infection-control procedures, and each child's established plan of care.  Work cooperatively with nurses and other members of the PPEC team. Qualifications  Experience working with children strongly preferred.  Previous PPEC experience highly preferred.  Experience caring for children with medical, developmental, or special needs is a plus.  Current HHA credentials/documentation as required for the position.  Current CPR certification.  Reliable, patient, compassionate, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
