Overview Our family is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Caretaker for our family member. As a Caretaker, you will be the cornerstone of comfort, safety, and well-being for those you serve, ensuring their daily needs are met with kindness and respect. Responsibilities Assist family member with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, administering medications, and recording care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support residents with mobility using manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods such as hospital bed or other assistive devices. Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive atmosphere for residents with neurodevelopmental or developmental disabilities Assist with transportation for appointments or community outings, ensuring safety during transfers and travel Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or one-on-one home health environments is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation, monitoring vital signs, medication administration, and care planning Hands-on experience with dementia care, memory care, Alzheimer's care, or hospice services is advantageous Familiarity with patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques required for safe patient movement Experience working with individuals with autism or other neurodevelopmental disorders enhances your ability to provide personalized support Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive health information Proven ability to assist with ADLs and provide personal care assistance in a compassionate manner

Pay:

$16.00 - $23.00 per hour
