Whether supporting seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those navigating memory care challenges, your efforts will foster a nurturing environment where clients feel valued and empowered. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patient health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; observe for any changes in condition or behavior Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when required Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing regular cleaning duties in residents' living areas and common spaces Support clients during outings or community activities to promote social engagement and independence Document care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA standards and facility policies Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation techniques and dementia or Alzheimer's care strategies Hands-on experience with patient monitoring, medication administration, and care planning Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is advantageous Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in hospice or memory care is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs Experience adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality in healthcare settings Join us to become a compassionate caregiver committed to enriching lives through dedicated support.
