Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialized memory care techniques and behavior management strategies Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with transfers and mobility Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control standards Document care activities accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and report any changes in residents' conditions promptly Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments is highly preferred Demonstrated experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or geriatrics is advantageous Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia management, and memory care best practices is essential Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as Medication Administration or Group Home Experience are a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks as needed Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and team members Valid driver's license for driving responsibilities related to community outings or transportation needs Compassionate attitude with a passion for caregiving and supporting vulnerable populations Join us in delivering exceptional care that enriches lives!
