Yolanda's Blessings is seeking compassionate, reliable, and professional Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)/Caregivers to provide person-centered support to individuals with disabilities and seniors in Hugo, Stillwater, and surrounding East Metro communities . DSPs assist individuals with daily living skills, personal goals, community participation, errands, appointments, grocery shopping, meal preparation, household tasks, and other supports based on each individual's needs and authorized services. DSPs are responsible for reviewing, understanding, and following each individual's applicable service plans and client-specific documentation, including the

CSSP/CSSP

Addendum, Individual Abuse Prevention Plan (IAPP), Intensive Services Assessment/Self-Management Assessment (SMA), support strategies, outcomes, emergency procedures, and other applicable plans or protocols . Staff are also responsible for completing accurate service documentation and EVV, reporting health or safety concerns, maintaining professional boundaries, protecting individual rights and confidentiality, and following Yolanda's Blessings policies and Minnesota 245D requirements.

Requirements:

Applicants must be dependable, able to pass a DHS background study, complete required 245D training and CPR/First Aid certification, and have a valid Minnesota driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, current auto insurance, and current vehicle registration . DSPs must be willing to use their personal vehicle to transport clients for approved community activities, appointments, and errands when required.

Pay:

$18.00-$22.00/hour , depending on experience, qualifications, and services provided. Part-time opportunities available.
