Responsibilities Provide direct support to individuals in their daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being. Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition. Engage clients in social activities that promote interaction and community involvement. Observe and document client behaviors, progress, and any significant changes in health or mood. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety protocols. Experience Ideal candidates will possess experience or skills in the following areas: Patient care experience, particularly with individuals on the autism spectrum or those requiring memory care. Familiarity with medication administration protocols. Background in social work or direct support roles is advantageous. Ability to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs. Strong observation skills for monitoring client conditions and behaviors. Experience in home care settings is a plus.
