Job Description

Our company is looking for a Personal Care Assistant in assisted living facility. Experience working in an Adult Care Home would be great! The ideal candidate will be comfortable assisting in daily chores and tasks, helping with grooming, serving meals, laundry, and light housekeeping. The Personal Care Assistant will be working closely with the residents of the Adult Care Home, so we are looking for an individual who are comfortable interacting with residents on a regular basis.
Third shift:
11pm-7am
Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe environment for the residents. Demonstrate empathy toward residents. Manage time effectively and adhere to schedule changes for the needs of care residents. Provide appropriate communication to support people with varying levels of ability using a variety of communication methods. Assist residents with their personal hygiene, grooming and, mobility. Communicate effectively with individuals, families, caregivers and other service providers to provide assistance and answer questions. Assist and encourage residents to participate in scheduled activities and outings. Assist in the cleanliness of the community including straightening resident beds, emptying resident trash, and tidying resident room daily and as needed. Assist with resident laundry per shift guidelines.
