As a Home Health Aide with us, you'll join a team that's wholeheartedly committed to ensuring our patients receive the best possible care in the comfort of their own homes. Your role will be pivotal in helping patients maintain their independence by offering companionship, basic medical care, and assistance with daily tasks. Compensation:
$24 - $26 hourly
Responsibilities:
Sustain quality companionship and provide psychological and emotional support for patients and their family members Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients, ensuring they feel valued and understood. Monitor and report changes in patients' health status to the healthcare team, fostering proactive and responsive care. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment, enhancing patients' comfort and well-being. Administer basic medical care under supervision, such as checking vital signs, to ensure patients' health is closely monitored.
Qualifications:
Conclusion of home health aide training programs from community colleges are acceptable - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) is a bonus A valid state driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance is required Compassionate, kind, and empathetic personality is essential, with superb organization and communications skills Current CPR certification and first aid training is needed and you must be able to pass a full employment background check, drug test, and physical Physical requirements include being able to lift up to 100 lbs, may be required to stoop, bend, reach, and transfer patients up to 250 lbs as needed About Company Spero Hospice is a group of dedicated, hardworking professionals who understand that individuals and families entering hospice care may feel scared, overwhelmed, sad, or unsure.
