Direct Support Professional II (DSP II) - Without Walls (WOW) Program Buffalo, NY | $22.37/hour | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-3:00 PM (35 hours/week) Love being out in the community instead of behind a desk? Join our Day Habilitation Without Walls (WOW) Program, where every day is different and every day makes a difference. As a DSP II, you'll support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they participate in community activities, volunteer opportunities, recreational outings, and skill-building experiences throughout Western New York. Rather than working in a traditional facility, you'll help people connect with their community and live fuller, more independent lives.
What You'll Do:
Support individuals during community-based activities and outings Assist with volunteer opportunities, recreation, and life-skills development Encourage independence, confidence, and community engagement Provide assistance with meals, personal needs, and daily supports as needed Document services and individual progress Help create meaningful experiences that align with each person's goals
What We're Looking For:
Compassionate, reliable, and positive attitude Valid driver's license and ability to safely transport individuals when needed Strong communication and teamwork skills Human services experience is helpful but not required High school diploma or equivalent preferred
