Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Hauppauge, NY. You will assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in building independence, mastering daily living tasks, and engaging with their local Long Island community. Responsibilities Provide support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration. Escort individuals to local community outings, medical appointments, and recreational activities. Follow individual service/person-centered plans and document progress daily. Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive home or day-program environment.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Daily Life Support:

Assistance with personal care, meal planning, and light housekeeping.

Communication & Empathy:

Strong listening skills and a caring, patient attitude.

Community Engagement:

Helping individuals go on local trips, shopping, and activities.

Basic Documentation:

Ability to track daily notes and follow care plans accurately.

Safety & Reliability:
