We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide quality in-home care and support to our clients. The HHA will assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living while promoting their comfort, dignity, independence, and safety. The ideal candidate is reliable, patient, respectful, and committed to providing excellent care in accordance with the client's care plan and applicable New York State requirements. Responsibilities Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene. Assist with walking, transfers, positioning, and other mobility needs. Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). Prepare meals and assist with feeding, when required. Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the client's care. Assist with laundry, shopping, and other approved household tasks. Provide companionship and emotional support. Observe and report changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor. Follow the client's individualized plan of care and agency policies. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided. Follow infection-control, safety, and confidentiality procedures. Promote the client's dignity, independence, privacy, and overall well-being. Perform duties within the scope of HHA training and New York State requirements. Qualifications Current New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate or other required HHA credential. Completion of required NYS-approved HHA training. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors. Dependable, compassionate, and professional attitude. Ability to work independently and follow a plan of care. Ability to safely assist clients with activities of daily living and mobility. Previous home-care experience preferred but not required, depending on agency requirements. Must meet all applicable employment, health, background-check, and agency requirements.
