Key Responsibilities Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care Support independence, choice, dignity, and community participation Provide safe transportation for authorized appointments and activities, when assigned Administer medications after obtaining the required certification and authorization Prepare meals and maintain a clean and safe living environment Complete accurate shift notes, service documentation, MAR records, and incident reports Follow each individual's ISP, behavior-support strategies, and health and safety requirements Maintain professional communication with individuals, guardians, coworkers, and management Follow Ohio DODD requirements and company policies Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or GED preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, when driving is required Ability to pass required criminal background checks Ability to complete required DODD training Dependable attendance and professional communication Ability to safely perform the essential duties of the position DSP experience and Medication Administration Certification 1 are preferred but not required. Training may be provided to qualified applicants.
