Competitive pay of $16-$18 per hour $500 sign-on bonus Monthly gas stipend Mileage reimbursement for approved client transportation Paid training Opportunity to advance into a House Manager position Additional pay increase upon promotion Supportive and accessible management Opportunity to lead and make a meaningful difference Prompt interviews for qualified applicants Position responsibilities: Provide supervision and support according to the individual's service plan Help the individual maintain a healthy and consistent daily routine Provide calm reassurance, appropriate direction, and respectful redirection Encourage independence, personal growth, and community involvement Transport the individual to appointments, activities, shopping, and community outings Monitor and promptly report changes in mood, behavior, sleep, or daily functioning Complete accurate progress notes, shift reports, and incident documentation Communicate important updates to management and team members Ensure routines, safety measures, and support plans are followed consistently Assist with household organization, meal preparation, and scheduled activities Help guide, train, and encourage other DSPs Promote teamwork and address concerns professionally Maintain appropriate professional boundaries Take initiative without needing frequent reminders Help maintain a safe, stable, respectful, and organized environment You may be a great fit if you: Have a leadership mindset and want to grow into management Are reliable, punctual, organized, and attentive to detail Communicate clearly and professionally Remain calm during stressful or challenging situations Understand how to provide respectful direction and redirection Follow through on responsibilities and documentation Can accept feedback and apply it professionally Can guide coworkers while remaining part of the team Are patient, emotionally mature, and solution-oriented Understand the importance of consistency and professional boundaries Can work independently without constant supervision Transportation requirements: Valid driver's license Reliable personal vehicle Current automobile insurance Acceptable driving record Willingness to transport the individual to appointments and activities Additional requirements: Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or GED Must be able to pass an Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) background check Must meet all applicable DODD employment requirements CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain them DODD Medication Administration certification preferred Previous DSP experience preferred Leadership, supervisory, or management experience is a plus Available shifts: Day shift Evening shift Overnight shift Weekends and holidays as scheduled If you are ready to move beyond a routine DSP position and develop into a leader, we want to hear from you.
