You will assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), promote health and safety, and provide the support needed to help each individual live as independently and successfully as possible. Your role will include providing guidance, encouragement, and hands-on assistance when needed while respecting each person's choices, preferences, dignity, and independence. DSPs help individuals develop and maintain daily living skills, participate in their communities, build meaningful relationships, and work toward their personal goals.
