Overview Up to 25 hours a week Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as personal hygiene and daily routines Support participation recreational activities, social and community events to build independence Understand and address behavioral and medical needs, implementing individual care programs and management strategies using required documentation Safely transport clients to appointments, activities, and community events using personal vehicle as needed Perform first aid or CPR when required and follow all established safety protocols Maintain clear, effective communication with individuals, families, and team members to ensure coordinated and positive care experiences Experience Prior experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or intellectual disorders not required but preferred Demonstrated ability in behavior management techniques and supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities Home & community care experience involving direct support roles is highly desirable Valid driver's license; clean driving record required Certifications such as first aid and CPR are required; additional training in behavioral health or caregiving is advantageous

Pay:

$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 25.0 per week Application Question(s): Do you have a valid driver's license? Are you willing to drive as part of your job? I.E. transporting the individual to various activities in the community throughout the day.
