Join Bloom Human Services as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)! We are a family owned company who makes employee satisfaction a priority and genuinely means it. This is a 11-14 hour a week position with 2 consumers in the New Bloomfield/Shermans Dale areas. Both consumers are female, one is younger and one is older. The older female enjoys going to the senior center to play games with her friends. She also volunteers to help clean up after the games. She also enjoys going to flea markets and yard sales. The younger female enjoys getting out and socializing. She enjoys meeting up with other Bloom employees with their consumers to do trip to the library and going to game day at the Bosler library in Carlisle. She also loves her Dunkin Donuts coffee!

930-1230p This position could have another consumer added to the schedule if hours are needed, but that choice is up to you! Bloom Human Services also does not require employees to cover shifts outside their normal schedule and does not force overtime. RESPONSIBILITIES

Helping integrate into the community safely and comfortably Running errands like grocery shopping, medical appointments, etc. Complete crafts and other art style activities together Aiding individuals with financial tasks Teaching and assisting with daily routine items Guiding in planning and seeing out food preparation Encouraging exercise and physical activity Working together to accomplish goals and tasks Attend activities in the community Create a safe and rewarding environment for every individual served And so much more!

REQUIREMENTS

Patience, compassion, respect, a positive nature Valid Driver's License 18 years of age or older No felony convictions High School Diploma or Equivalent is required Daily access to an insured and privately maintained vehicle Effective verbal and written communication skills Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including vehicle records, criminal background checks and training Reliability
