Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote dignity and independence Monitor patient health by reporting changes, and maintaining accurate care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Support patients during transfers using proper manual handling techniques Administer medication following prescribed instructions and document administration accurately in accordance with healthcare protocols Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance overall well-being, especially for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or neurodevelopmental disorders Assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment for residents or clients Support mobility and transportation needs by helping clients get to appointments or community activities safely Experience Prior experience working in home health care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Demonstrated experience in patient observation, medication administration, and dementia or memory care is advantageous Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards related to patient information is essential Hands-on experience operating patient transfer methods is desirable Join us as a Home Care Aide where your dedication fuels compassionate caregiving.
