What You'll Do As a Direct Support Professional I & II , you will assist adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives, supporting independence, health, and personal growth.Your responsibilities include:
Assisting with hygiene, grooming, dietary, and dressing needs Supporting clients with bathroom needs Changing clothing/undergarments when necessary Preparing meals and completing cleanup Following daily routines outlined in the Individual Program Plan (IPP) Redirecting behaviors through activities like walking, reading, games, math, and computer tasks Providing safe transportation in company vans when required Every day, you'll help create a supportive, structured, and empowering environment for the individuals you serve.Education & Experience Requirements Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED Certifications Required:
CPR/First Aid Experience:
1 year of personal or professional experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities (e.g., Autism) or mental health conditions (e.g., Bipolar) strongly preferredDriving Requirements:
Valid in-state driver's license Must be 21+ Current registration & insurance Driving record with no more than 2 points in the past 3 years Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
