THIS POSITION IS IMMEDIATE START
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly those with medical needs. This role requires a blend of clinical knowledge and interpersonal skills to ensure that clients receive the best possible care tailored to their unique requirements. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Assist with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safe movement within the home and during outings. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to appropriate healthcare professionals. Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to develop personalized care plans that meet the specific needs of each client. Skills Experience in outpatient care, particularly in settings such as clinics or teaching hospitals. Familiarity with medical-surgical practices and protocols. Knowledge of geriatrics and the unique needs associated with aging populations. Experience working in Level I or Level II Trauma Centers is a plus. Ability to work effectively in various healthcare environments, including OR settings. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about caregiving and have a background in healthcare.
