Job Summary Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Home Health Aide, where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance to individuals in their homes, supporting their health, safety, and well-being. Your energetic approach and commitment to excellence will help foster independence and comfort for those in need of home healthcare services. This paid position offers an opportunity to work closely with diverse patient populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those receiving hospice or dementia care. Responsibilities Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' conditions, including recording vital signs and noting changes in health status Support medication administration following prescribed instructions while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient care accurately and efficiently Provide specialized care for patients with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other memory impairments, including memory care techniques Help with medical procedures such as catheter care, wound dressing, and basic first aid or CPR when necessary Facilitate safe patient transfers using transfer methods like Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices Support end-of-life care with compassion and sensitivity, respecting patient dignity and comfort at all times Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment Communicate effectively with clients and family members to ensure personalized care plans are followed Requirements Proven experience working as a Home Health Aide or in assisted living/nursing home environments Knowledge of medical terminology and home healthcare regulations Certification in First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS), including CPR training Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting with patient transfers or mobility support Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient records Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or geriatrics preferred Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in health status promptly Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for travel between client locations Join us in providing exceptional home health care that empowers patients to live comfortably and independently. $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
