Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers and Direct Support Professionals to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving settings, including home care. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized care, companionship, and support. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide patient care and monitor vital signs to ensure the well-being of clients. Support individuals with disabilities, including those with developmental disabilities and autism. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties. Administer medications as prescribed and follow care plans developed by healthcare professionals. Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote emotional well-being. Assist with mobility needs using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Observe and report any changes in clients' conditions or behaviors to appropriate personnel. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information. Skills First Aid and CPR certification preferred. Experience in home health, hospice care, or long-term care settings is advantageous. Knowledge of dementia care and memory care techniques is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for client assistance. Strong patient observation skills to recognize changes in health status. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and families. Familiarity with care plans and medication administration protocols.
