Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans to ensure safety and compliance. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs, including cooking and meal planning for residents with specific health conditions like dementia or autism. Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and sanitation to promote a healthy environment. Provide transportation assistance for appointments, errands, or community outings using appropriate personal transportation methods. Document patient observations, care activities, and progress accurately while respecting residents' rights and privacy regulations. Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to perform patient observation, monitor vital signs, and assist with medication administration confidently. Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental or developmental disabilities enhances your effectiveness in this role.
