Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer first aid and medication as needed
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients

Experience:

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of home care practices and techniques
• Familiarity with working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Skills:

• Strong patient care skills and the ability to provide compassionate support
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work well with individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Patience, empathy, and understanding in dealing with challenging behaviors
