This is an excellent opportunity for a Bilingual Health Care Assistant Float (40 hours/week) at our Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha and Waukesha Health Centers! As a valuable member of our team, all Health Care Assistants are provided paid training to learn how to deliver clinical care and how to complete medical administrative tasks.

POSITION
: Assists patients seeking sexual and reproductive health care by interviewing, screening, educating and preparing them for their appointment. As a member of a health care team, the Health Care Assistant (HCA) provides medical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation in the clinic setting. The HCA facilitates clinic flow; ensures availability of patient care supplies; performs laboratory and screening procedures and participates in the implementation of patient care plans. This position is also responsible for front desk duties.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, staff and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner in person and over the phone.
- Experience in electronic health records (EHR), electronic practice management (EPM) system, Office 365, and Microsoft Office Products preferred.
- Accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and implement written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Some positions require bilingual English/Spanish skills.
- CPR certifiable.
