Job Description
Are you compassionate, reliable, and passionate about helping children and families thrive? Bridging Gaps is seeking dedicated Caregivers/Direct Support Professionals to provide supportive services through our Children's Long-Term Support (CLTS) Program. In this role, you will work directly with children and youth with developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, and other special needs, helping them build independence, social skills, and confidence while supporting their families. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one support to children and youth in home and community settings. Assist with daily living skills, personal care, and supervision as needed. Support participation in recreational, educational, and social activities. Help children develop communication, social, and life skills. Ensure the safety and well-being of participants at all times. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with families and team members. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment. Qualifications Experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, or special needs populations preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and follow individualized service plans. CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Ability to pass required background checks. Why Join Bridging Gaps?
