Position:

Laboratory Technician We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of laboratory duties, supporting high standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and take down assays following established protocols
• Process specimens with accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and make slides for analysis
• Set drug plates and ensure proper experimental setups
• Perform Alamar Blue, MTT, ATP, and DISC assays
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date charts and laboratory records
• Make reagents and media as required for laboratory assays Additional Responsibilities and Expectations Lab Maintenance and Cleaning
• Monitor equipment temperatures
• Clean water baths, incubators, cytospins, and centrifuges
• Calibrate balances and pipettes
• QC autoclave
• Dispose of trash and biohazard materials appropriately Cell Culture Support
• Demonstrate strong aseptic technique
• Exhibit excellent pipetting skills
• Prepare drug plates as needed Work Schedule and Environment
• Tues - Sat 9:00 - 5:30 with some flex time. This is subject to change.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, or evenings as required
• Fast-paced setting requiring multitasking and efficiency
• Emphasis on accuracy and independent problem solving Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related field
• Previous laboratory experience
• Familiarity with assay protocols and laboratory instrumentation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
