Job Description

Category Medical Technician Job Type Contract A contract position is available for a skilled Medical Technician or Medical Technologist with a proven background in clinical laboratory procedures. This opportunity offers an engaging work environment, where your expertise contributes directly to critical patient care decisions.
Schedule/Hours:
40 hours per week (standard full-time contract schedule)
Qualifications:
Active certification as a Medical Technician or Medical Technologist (ASCP or equivalent) Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field Previous experience in high-complexity laboratory testing preferred Proficient in operating laboratory equipment and performing a wide range of testing (hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, etc.) Strong attention to detail and accuracy in specimen analysis and data reporting Ability to follow established protocols while maintaining compliance with safety standards
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests with strict adherence to quality control measures Accurately analyze patient samples and promptly report findings to healthcare providers Maintain proper records, documentation, and inventory of laboratory supplies Calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure optimal operation Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times
