  • is seeking a
  • Laboratory Technician
  • to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing and analyzing samples to determine their chemical and physical properties. This is a traditional, white-lab-coat position with no travel required.
  • Pay:
  • $30.

+ Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following all policies and procedures and consistently working safely.

+ Maintain a safe work environment that complies with applicable OSHA regulations and company Health, Safety, and Compliance protocols.

+ Prepare and analyze samples according to established procedures.

+ Identify and resolve minor issues related to sample analysis.

+ Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment.

+ Recommend solutions when equipment or analytical issues arise.

+ Complete all documentation related to laboratory analyses accurately and promptly.

+ Ensure all work meets applicable quality assurance and quality control guidelines.

+ Manage laboratory supplies and maintain proper housekeeping and best management practices within the assigned work area.

+ Properly manage waste generated through analytical procedures. Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent required.

+ One year of specialized training required.

+ Bachelor's degree in chemistry, physical science, or a related field preferred.

+ Knowledge of mathematics, chemistry, and chemical testing preferred.

+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

+ Experience using a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) preferred.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office. About Clean Harbors
