Description General summary: Lab Technician The Lab Technician is to colle ct and run laboratory tests to certify that co-products from the facility are compliant with all product specifications required by customers and different organizations. The Lab Technician is to report, prevent and/or correct any deviation from specifications on the different products by ensuring real time lab results. The candidate must be well organized. Exceptional documentation, recordkeeping and housekeeping skills are required. Position responsibilities 7 0 % Laboratory operation (samplin g and analyzing) for quality 15 % Documentation , recordkeeping, data analysis 15% Any other duties as assigned Work conditions Work 40+ hours per week in lab and outdoor environment, with flexibility to work outside normal business hours. Regular exposure to slippery floors, extreme temperature variations, loud noise, chemicals, machinery and vehicles. This position requires daily sample draws and work to be performed outside.
