Qualifications Job Description Under the direction of the Supervisor, the lab assistant is responsible for support functions, preanalytical processing, preparing specimens to send to appropriate reference laboratories, and accessioning/registration functions. Performance of waived and moderate complexity testing, inventory control and management, specimen storage and retrieval. Performs maintenance required by laboratory. High School Graduate or equivalent One(1) Year as a Medical or Lab Assistant or demonstrated experience in laboratory Ability to comply with OSHA and applicable regulatory requirements by following established procedures in order to maintain a safe laboratory environment and to meet accreditation standards. Ability to be flexible as required to adapt to laboratory needs as related to testing and scheduling. Ability to operate a pneumatic tube system We take great care of careers.
