About SMT, Corp. SMT Corp. is recognized as the industry leader in counterfeit electronics detection and supply chain assurance , providing mission-critical components and verification services for high-reliability applications. Working within our purpose-built facility, a 70,000 sq. foot manufacturing test lab, our Test Lab Technicians perform a vital role in our business to help us inspect/test micro/electronic components from our customers and suppliers for quality and potential counterfeit items. Progression within our company is encouraged and all our staff undergo a high level of training to help them in their jobs. Our company focuses on cross training between Quality Control, Inspection and Test Lab Technician as well as future development. Position is incentive bonus eligible.

About the role:

Undertake multiple forms of inspecting of electronic components Use state-of-the-art test equipment in a lab environment to perform detailed inspections and generate test reports Research component information in order to compare components with data sheet specifications Count and handling micro electronic components Work in a fast paced goal-oriented environment

Qualifications:

The role does require a high level of attention to detail, manual dexterity, ability to follow repetitive testing standards, and good eyesight. Experience in working within a manufacturing lab environment preferred. Components are stored within our warehouse and you will be required to undertake some light lifting (up to 40 lbs) and climb ladders (up to10 ft). Ability to work in a ESD and FOD Lab controlled environment.

Schedule:

8 hour shift

•Monday to Friday, 4pm

•12:30am 1/2 hour Meal Break Overtime available
