Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Polysomnographic Technologists to join our team in providing high-quality sleep medicine services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sleep disorders and will be responsible for conducting comprehensive sleep studies to diagnose and evaluate patients' sleep-related issues. Duties Conduct polysomnographic studies on patients to assess sleep disorders. Apply electrodes and sensors to patients in accordance with established protocols. Maintain accurate records of patient data. Educate patients about the procedures involved in sleep studies and provide support throughout the process. Stay updated on advancements in sleep medicine and related technologies. Requirements Registered as a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) Must have 2 references within the last year including a lab manager or physician Must be trained in pediatric and adult polysomnography Knowledge of sleep medicine principles and practices. Strong understanding of medical terminology. Experience with vital signs monitoring and respiratory therapy techniques. Ability to work effectively in a sleep center environment. Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and education. Attention to detail for accurate data collection and reporting during diagnostic evaluations.
