Job Summary:

The Lab Technician supports daily laboratory operations by maintaining laboratory and supply storage areas, equipment, instruments, and supplies. The role involves following established laboratory methods, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while working within quality assurance requirements. This is an entry-level opportunity and is suitable for candidates with 0-2 years of experience. Direct laboratory experience is not required; candidates with strong attention to detail, reliability, communication skills, and the ability to work independently are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Retrieve samples from Sample Control for analysis. Perform sample preparation activities, including: Aliquoting samples Spiking and tracing samples Preparing reagents Bottling samples Preparing concentrations Separation Sonication Liquid rack setup Identify and resolve sample discrepancies and anomalies to ensure samples are properly labeled. Complete laboratory documentation, including: Analysis results Sample tracking records Bench sheets Laboratory logbooks Wash laboratory glassware to prepare for subsequent samples. Stock and organize laboratory supplies. Maintain clean and organized laboratory and supply storage areas. Follow laboratory procedures, SOPs, and quality assurance requirements. Work collaboratively with team members while completing assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required. 0-2 years of experience required. Direct laboratory experience is not required. Scientific education, laboratory exposure, or an interest in laboratory work is a plus.

Pay:
