Job Description

The Specimen Processor is responsible for registering, receiving, processing, recording, & distributing specimens & test requests; & for performing secretarial duties for the laboratory areas on neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult & geriatric patient specimens for use in laboratory testing in accordance with CRMC & profession standards of practice; maintaining all aspects of quality assurance & improvement; providing rapid & accurate dispersement of specimens & assistance; relaying & documenting information appropriately; & models appropriate behavior as exemplified in the CRMC Mission and Values statement.

Education:

High School Diploma /

GED Required Experience:

Minimum of one (1) year experience under a qualified director is preferred.
