RN Supervisor, Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing Position Summary PRN Nurses is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders, individualized care plans, accepted standards of nursing practice, facility policies, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The Licensed Practical Nurse promotes quality resident care while supporting the health, safety, dignity, and well-being of each resident.
Accountability:
RN Supervisor, Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide clinical guidance, education, support, and nursing care to residents and their families. Monitor residents' conditions and administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established facility policies. Accurately document resident care, treatments, observations, and services provided in resident medical records and department documentation. Protect residents and staff by adhering to established infection prevention and infection control policies, procedures, and protocols. Identify and resolve resident care concerns by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement appropriate interventions. Requirements
  • Should work well in a team environment.
  • Current License Practical Nurse (LPN) License in the State of Alabama.
  • Long Term Care / Rehab experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
