Hospice of Humboldt is now hiring a full-time Hospice House Nurse (RN or LVN) for day shift.

•Full-time is 3 shifts per week (12-hour shifts)

•LVN wage is $31.05-$37.96 The Hospice House Nurse is responsible for the provision and coordination of care for the hospice patient, including their family and caregiver(s). The Hospice House Nurse primarily provides nursing care to patients residing in the Ida Emerson Hospice House but may occasionally provide nursing care to patients residing outside of the IEHH, under the direction of a IEHH Clinical Administrator and under physician's orders. Care is provided in collaboration with other Interdisciplinary Group members as described in the patients' Plan of Care. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program Current California Registered Nurse/Vocational Nurse license Minimum of one year of experience as a professional nurse within the previous three years Basic computer skills Schedule Requirements 1. Must sign-up for a minimum of one (1) 16-hour after-hours back-up On-Call shift per month/schedule period. After-hours back-up On-Call shifts are from 1700-0900. This requirement applies to all classifications. 2. All Full-Time or Half-Time Hospice House Nurses must be willing to work two (2) weekend shifts (Fri. and/or Sat.
