This full-time contract position invites you to work one-on-one with a PreK male student throughout the full school year, making a meaningful impact on his day-to-day learning and health.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid and current LPN/LVN license in the state. Proven background in pediatric or school nursing strongly preferred. Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a school setting. Comfortability with 1:1 student assignments, including assistance with daily activities, medication administration, and monitoring health needs. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers. Current CPR and First Aid certification required. Willingness to comply with school and district policies, including training and ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the dedicated LPN for a PreK male student, providing health support and monitoring throughout the school day. Administer prescribed medications and therapies as outlined in the student's care plan. Respond quickly to changes in the students health status, providing first aid or contacting emergency services as necessary. Support the students participation in classroom and school activities, adapting care as needed to facilitate inclusivity. Maintain accurate health records, daily notes, and collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure continuity of care. Participate in planning meetings or IEPs as requested by the educational team.
