1 Description American Traveler is hiring an LPN/LVN for an Oncology Infusion Center position requiring 1+ year of specialty experience and CA license in hand. Details Work in an outpatient oncology infusion center covering the FastTrack unit Administer injections, access ports, perform peripheral blood draws, and manage simple infusions such as hydration Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Epic EMR experience required Requirements Current
CA LVN/LPN
license required in hand at time of submission, no pending licenses or EMSA accepted (license required if applicable) Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required 2 years of specialty experience preferred for most submissions BLS certification required IV Certification for LVNs required Chemo certification required in hand, no pending certification accepted Epic charting experience required Proof of flu vaccination or signed declination form required during flu season (October-March) Skills in IV therapy/phlebotomy and starting/maintaining IVs required Additional Information Responsibilities include vital sign monitoring, medication administration (IM, SQ, oral, subcutaneous), pain assessment and management, and communication of patient status changes to RN/MD Support for medical and surgical oncology patients including symptom management for nausea/vomiting, constipation/diarrhea, and ascites Provide patient and family education and support, including goal setting for hospice-related care First-time travelers will be considered for this position Travel pairs are allowed Former employees will not be considered for this position No restrictive rules on requested time off Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 75 mile radius
