Orientation Dates:

March 3rd and March 17th, 2026 (3 openings) We're seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with psychiatric experience to join our team at a state-run psychiatric facility in Pueblo, CO. This 24-week assignment is a great fit for nurses who thrive in dynamic, team-based environments with a focus on behavioral health and patient safety.

Compensation:

Travel LPN:

$27/hour + $1,000 weekly travel stipend (tax-free) Estimated weekly pay: $1,972 Double time for overtime hours

Local LPN:

$47/hour (fully taxed) Estimated weekly pay: $1,800 Overtime paid at 1.5x base

Schedule Details:

Full-time contract, 12-hour shifts

Day Shift:

6:30 AM

• 7:00

PM Night Shift:

6:30 PM

• 7:00 AM Flexibility to work across units is non-negotiable Overtime offered as needed

Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and treatment to individuals with acute psychiatric and co-occurring medical conditions Assist in crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, and therapeutic support for patient safety Monitor patient progress and contribute to care planning Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility standards

Requirements:

1-2 years of psychiatric nursing experience in a hospital or state-run setting Active Compact or Colorado LPN license Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Availability to work weekends and holidays as assigned
