Job Description
Wilton Meadows Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Wilton CT., is seeking LPN'S to join our team!
Schedule:
8-hour shiftShifts Available:
3pm-11pm- 40 hours including every other weekend 3pm-11pm
- 24 hours including every other weekend 7am-3pm
- 8 hours Every other weekend. 11pm-7am
- 8 hours
- no weekends, one day each week.
Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements and Responsibilities:
LPN plans and manages patient care according to each patient's needs. LPN interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition. LPN obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration. LPN provides routine care for patients. LPN observes patients' health. LPN reviews medical charts. LPN accompanies patients to their rooms. LPN assists physicians and registered nurses. LPN communicates with patients and their families. LPN prepares specimens for lab courier. LPN administers medications. LPN provides wound care. LPN prepares and administers injections and/or enemas. LPN assists with patient comfort. LPN monitors catheters. LPN Qualifications /Skills:
- Must have current CT LPN license LPN must have medical knowledge and observation skills LPN must have patience, compassion, kindness and empathy LPN must have critical thinking skills
- LPN must have excellent assessment and customer service skills
- LPN Must have the ability to communicate and work well with coworkers
