In our teen substance use treatment, active family participation is essential for recovery. Lotus Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The LPN will provide nursing care and support to adolescents in a residential behavioral health setting, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all clients. This position plays a vital role in supporting the clinical and medical team by monitoring client health, administering medications, maintaining medical records, and assisting in coordinating medical services.

The LPN provides on-site nursing and attendant care to adolescents residing in Lotus BH facilities. The LPN is expected to perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the mission and core values of Lotus Behavior Health and comply with all policies and procedures, OSHA, HIPAA, local, state, and federal, regulations..
Qualifications Basic Education and Experience Required:
Must hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Florida Experience in behavioral health, residential, or adolescent care preferred CPR Certification preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and nursing services to residents as prescribed by program regulations, and/or individual treatment plan, including collecting medical specimens. Maintains records, including but not limited to Medication Administration, medical records, medical charts, etc. Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings as needed. Responsible for preventing client abuse by adhering to all policies and procedures, attending periodic training, reporting suspicious and inappropriate behavior, and following mandatory abuse reporting requirements. Monitor chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures. Obtains patient data and vital signs and reports findings to the RN/Medical Director. Screen residents for medical/dental exams and schedule appropriate medical appointments including dental, vision, & clinical, providing medical information on a need-to-know basis. Comply with all reporting requirements, biohazard program requirements, medical protocols, etc. Attendance at meetings per prior arrangement, and participation as an interdisciplinary team member. Supervision will be provided.
Pay:
$25.00 to $27.00 per hour with differential Benefits for Full-time Employees only: PTO Holiday Medical Dental Vision and more

Ability to be physically mobile (stand, walk, reach, climb, bend) and to sit for prolonged periods throughout work hours. Must be able to lift and/or move 25 or more pounds occasionally. Must respond appropriately and effectively in crises by using good judgment and following Lotus Behavioral Health protocols.
