This hybrid position combines direct clinical care—including rooming patients, administering allergy injections, and assisting with testing and procedures—with front-office responsibilities in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Responsibilities Check patients in and verify demographic and insurance information. Collect payments, answer calls, schedule appointments, and assist with front-office duties. Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medications and medical histories. Administer injections, including allergy immunotherapy, according to provider orders and practice protocols. Perform or assist with allergy testing and pulmonary function testing (training provided). Support providers during examinations and procedures. Monitor patients after injections and respond to reactions according to established protocols. Gather and document patient concerns and route clinical questions appropriately. Prepare, clean, and stock examination rooms. Accurately document patient care and communications in the electronic health record. Assist with additional administrative and clinical duties as needed. Experience Previous experience in a medical office, including administrative support and clinical responsibilities. Experience using an EMR/EHR system for documentation and medical-record management. Previous outpatient or specialty-clinic experience is preferred. Customer-service and direct patient-care experience is a plus. Qualifications Active LPN license or current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification. Comfortable administering injections and performing clinical procedures. Strong communication, customer-service, and computer skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation. Ability to balance clinical and front-office responsibilities. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided to the right candidate. We offer generous compensation, medical and dental benefits, 401k and many other perks!
