About the Position As an RN or LPN, you will provide quality nursing care and support to individuals receiving community-based services. You will work closely with Direct Support Professionals, supervisors, physicians, pharmacies, families, guardians, and other healthcare professionals to promote the health, safety, dignity, and independence of the individuals we serve.

Nurses looking for a lower-stress alternative to hospital or long-term care nursing Experienced nurses seeking a more personal and relationship-focused role Nurses seeking flexible part-time, full-time, or supplemental employment Nurses who are passionate about helping individuals live healthy, fulfilling lives What You'll Do Provide Compassionate Nursing Care Provide direct nursing care and ongoing health monitoring Administer medications and treatments within the scope of your license Perform wound care and other skilled nursing services as appropriate Monitor vital signs and overall health status Identify changes in condition and communicate concerns appropriately Participate in an on-call rotation as assigned Assess & Document Complete nursing assessments and health evaluations Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation Monitor changes in health and provide appropriate follow-up Ensure nursing services are provided according to individual needs and care plans Coordinate Care Collaborate with physicians, pharmacies, therapists, guardians, families, and interdisciplinary team members Coordinate appointments, follow-up care, and medical services Promote continuity of care across healthcare providers and community-based services Train & Support Staff Educate and mentor Direct Support Professionals on health-related topics Provide guidance regarding medication administration and medical procedures Train staff on recognizing health concerns and responding appropriately Support staff in following healthcare and emergency procedures Advocate for the Individuals We Serve Promote each individual's health, dignity, independence, and well-being Ensure medical needs and personal preferences are respected Provide person-centered care that supports each individual's goals and quality of life Help individuals maintain the highest level of health and independence possible Respond to Medical Needs Assess and respond appropriately to urgent medical situations Provide calm and professional leadership during emergencies Coordinate with emergency medical personnel when necessary Communicate changes in condition to appropriate healthcare professionals and team members Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) Current, active Missouri RN license or LPN license Valid driver's license Strong assessment and clinical nursing skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Compassionate, dependable, and person-centered approach Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred, but not required What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Flexible scheduling Full-time and part-time opportunities No weekends / No holidays Supportive, family-oriented work environment Paid Time Off (PTO) Health, Dental & Vision Insurance for Full-Time Employees Mileage reimbursement Meaningful work that positively impacts the lives of others The opportunity to build lasting relationships with the individuals you support A rewarding alternative to traditional hospital and long-term care nursing Join Our Team!
