Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Bring your compassion and clinical expertise to a rewarding opportunity supporting students on a contract basis. Several full-time LPN roles are available, each offering the chance to provide crucial 1:1 care for students in an educational setting. These positions focus on individualized support and require flexibility, with all caseloads currently open, and some roles including bus riding responsibilities. Ideal candidates are dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses eager to make an impact in the lives of children and adolescents. Your expertise will help students thrive in both health and academic environments. Candidates must be comfortable with a variety of care needs and should be open about preferences regarding specific medical tasks.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active, unencumbered LPN license Previous pediatric, school-based, or similar nursing experience is highly desirable Confident providing care for one or more of the following: tracheostomy, G-tube, ventilation, seizure management, diabetic care, toileting assistance, bus riding, and supporting academic participation Strong communication skills and adaptability to evolving student needs Ability to work independently within a school community Reliable transportation for consistent attendance
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver personalized nursing care to students in a school environment on a one-to-one basis Administer prescribed treatments and monitor students' health status through the school day Provide or assist with specialized medical care such as trach, G-tube, vent support, seizure and diabetic care, and toileting Accompany students as needed during bus transport Collaborate with educational staff and families to support academic and health goals Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with nursing standards and school policies Ready to take your nursing career into a dynamic educational setting? and help shape brighter futures for students needing dedicated medical support throughout the school day.
