An immediate opportunity is available for a skilled imaging professional with expertise in both CT and PET scanning. The position is based in New Hampshire with a contract engagement. You will be responsible for conducting high-quality PET/CT studies utilizing advanced imaging technologies to support patient care.
Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts per week Rotating coverage at two locations
Key Qualifications:
Certification in Radiologic Technology with current registry in PET and CT modalities Proven experience performing PET/CT scans in a clinical environment Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and equipment operation Excellent patient care and communication skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently both independently and in a collaborative healthcare setting Up-to-date CPR certification and compliance with all clinical safety standards
Position Responsibilities:
Perform and document PET/CT procedures according to physician orders and established protocols Prepare and position patients while ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the exam Operate imaging equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and coordinate with service for maintenance as needed Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all data is entered into electronic medical systems promptly Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care Monitor inventory of imaging supplies and ensure the work environment follows proper infection control practices
