NursingESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide optimal, direct patient care and demonstrate sound decision-making skills. Communicate patient care needs to all members of the health care team. Contribute effectively to promote timely and efficient patent admission, transfer and discharge including providing appropriate patient education. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the primary care provider. Documents patient status in an accurate, pertinent and concise manner. Assist with updating care plans. Delegate or assign aspects of patient care to health care team members (non-licensed) commensurate with their validated competency to perform the task.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
