Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the physician's calendar
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
- Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist physicians with basic procedures and treatments as directed
- Provide administrative support such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
Requirements:
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience in patient care and providing exceptional customer service
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Ability to provide excellent patient service and care
- Proficiency in using X-Ray equipment (if applicable)
