Responsibilities:

• Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
• Schedule patient appointments and manage the physician's calendar
• Answer phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
• Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records
• Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
• Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
• Assist physicians with basic procedures and treatments as directed
• Provide administrative support such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

Requirements:

• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Experience in patient care and providing exceptional customer service
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
• Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred
• Familiarity with medication administration procedures
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Ability to provide excellent patient service and care
• Proficiency in using X-Ray equipment (if applicable)
