Role:

Angel Care Home Companion Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a live-in position based in Manhattan, NY. This is a unique opportunity to provide compassionate, around-the-clock care in a home setting over a 7-day live-in assignment. If you're a nurturing healthcare professional who thrives in one-on-one patient care, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care and monitoring throughout the duration of the 7-day live-in assignment Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the supervising physician Monitor and document patient vital signs, health status, and any changes in condition Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and mobility Communicate effectively with family members, caregivers, and healthcare team regarding patient progress Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home care environment for the patient Follow care plans and report any concerns or changes to the supervising RN or physician

Requirements:

Active and valid LPN license in the state of New York Prior experience in home care, private duty nursing, or live-in patient care preferred Ability to commit to a full 7-day live-in assignment in Manhattan, NY Strong knowledge of medication administration and patient monitoring protocols Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor CPR/BLS certification required
